Masquerade Ball

The inaugural OSCA Masquerade Ball was in 2015 and has continued to grow ever since. For pictures of our most recent ball, go to our Facebook Page. A masquerade mask must be worn (handheld is OK) in order to enter the ball. The dress code is formal. Our ball is always two Saturdays before Fat Tuesday.

For more information on the ball or to get tickets, reach out to an OSCA member, go to our facebook page, or e-mail us at oscarnivalassociation@gmail.com

Discover Christmas Parade

Discover Christmas is a parade which is meant for all of us to “Discover Christmas" and help children by providing them with gifts by all those who participate in the parade.

Discover Christmas is hosted by OSCA, the Elks and Krewe Unique. We ask everyone who attends to bring an unwrapped gift for a child worth at least $5.00. These gifts will be collected at the beginning of our parade by the Boy Scouts and Santa’s elves. The elves will be followed by marching units and traditional floats.

Check out our Facebook Event Page and let us know if you will be participating!

To register your float, golf cart, truck, etc, please click the button below to download our application.

For any other questions regarding the parade, please contact Heather at 228-355-0146.

Christmas Caroling

The 1st annual Christmas Caroling was in 2016. We begin with caroling towards the Villa Maria Retirement Apartments to sing to those who come outside to join us. After a few songs, we then head to the Samaritan House Retirement Apartments to do the same. We finish with singing down Government Street in hopes the community joins us in caroling!

Follow us on facebook or check our calendar to find out when the next one will be!

Halfway to Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

Our first Annual Pub Crawl began in 2018 with the goal of raising money for our Masquerade Ball. Our Royal Court is announced during this event. It keeps getting bigger and better! We love having the downtown business support and welcome the public (21+ only) to join us in one of the most fun summer events of the year. Please follow our Facebook page to find out more, or contact us to be involved!
